hey, thanks for the welcome...
what am i all about? hmm... well let's see...
i was born in chicago, raised in the city streets, my mama gave me the basic facts of life..
no, i'm just teasing. i was born (yay!) in denver, grew up in the suburbs, a place which fosters a deep feeling of disillusionment with our modern concept of the built environment and the culture that produces it/it produces... although maybe that was just teenage angst.. anyway i went to art school at the local commercial artist factory: colorado institute of art got a degree in graphic design, worked as a graphic designer for a couple of years, decided i had enough and somehow wound up working with a crazy crew of design/build public artists known as artscapes, where i met casey and made stuff.. four years later, i'm still here trying to do my small part to make our built environment beautiful and full of life. as long as i can keep growing and learning and making things with my own two hands, i think i'll be here for a pretty long time...
so that's a brief description of some things that have happened. i doubt that it's what i'm all about, but it's an introduction.. so it's nice to meet you.
as an artist/designer/human being, i'm extremely interested in the ideas that you've been blogging around... let's figure out how to make our human endevours fit properly into the life cycle of the universe and all be happy!
honestly i'm not sure how or if i fit in to your plans, i've only read a bit of your blogs, and chatted briefly with casey, so i've got more reading to do.. i'd like to get to know you guys and what your plans are... and offer help in whatever way seems appropriate... or something like that.
